What is kept

  • The order of the photos, one photo per page
  • Good image quality, suited to screen and print

Good to know

  • For a Live Photo or a burst, only the first image is used
  • Very large photos give a large PDF: compress it afterwards if needed

About HEIC files

HEIC (HEIF) is the default photo format of iPhones since iOS 11. It halves file size compared with JPG but is poorly supported on Windows and the web.

About PDF files

PDF (Portable Document Format) was created by Adobe and is an ISO standard (ISO 32000). It looks identical on every device, which makes it the reference format for contracts, invoices and forms.
