These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of pdftoworld.com and its services ("PDFtoWorld", "Service"), operated by Ludovick Guitton, 75 chemin des Ruelles, 78370 Plaisir, France ("we", "us").
1. The Service
PDFtoWorld provides online tools to edit, sign, convert, compress, organise, and protect documents, images, audio and video. Tools marked "Free" can be used without an account, subject to fair-use limits. For premium tools you may upload, edit and preview documents free of charge; downloading the result requires an active subscription.
Electronic signatures created with the signature tools are simple electronic signatures within the meaning of the eIDAS Regulation, unless you sign with your own qualified certificate.
2. Account
Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential and be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country). You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Subscription, trial and price
Limited access: €0.50 for 7 days, then €39.00 every 4 weeks, renewing automatically until cancelled. Includes PDF editing, annotation and form filling. Other free tools remain subject to their free daily quota. Full access: €1.00 for 7 days, then €49.00 every 4 weeks, renewing automatically until cancelled. Includes all tools currently available in the catalogue, without the free-tool daily quota. File size, security and storage limits still apply. Four weeks means 28 days, not a calendar month. No annual offer is available. Existing subscriptions keep their agreed prices, billing periods and access until an expressly agreed change.
- The introductory fee is charged when you subscribe. Unless you cancel before the end of the seven-day introductory period, your selected subscription automatically renews every four weeks, charged in advance.
- Prices include VAT where applicable. We clearly display the price and renewal terms before you confirm payment, and email you a confirmation and a reminder before the trial ends.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Accepted methods include cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from Dashboard → Subscription → Cancel subscription or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then and you will not be charged again. You can resume a cancelled subscription before the period ends.
5. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA/UK consumers)
Consumers retain their statutory withdrawal rights. As a commercial policy, you may withdraw from the initial subscription within 14 days of conclusion for a full refund, even if you have used the Service. Starting to use PDFtoWorld or downloading a document does not automatically waive this right. Contact [email protected] with an unambiguous withdrawal request. Mandatory rights and remedies that are more favourable remain available. See the Refund Policy for a withdrawal form.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to process content you have no right to process, to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, to remove protection from documents you are not entitled to unlock, to distribute malware, or to circumvent usage limits or security measures. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms, after notice where required by law.
7. Your content
You keep all rights to your documents. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the Service. Files are deleted automatically after 24 hours. We do not use your documents to train models.
8. Notice and action (Digital Services Act)
Report allegedly illegal content or abuse at [email protected] with the URL or reference, an explanation and your contact details. We process notices diligently and inform you of our decision and of available redress. Our single point of contact for authorities and users under the DSA is [email protected].
9. Availability and liability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, nor your statutory consumer rights (including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services).
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes are notified by email at least 30 days in advance; you may cancel before they take effect.
11. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the country of our registered office, without depriving consumers of the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence. Before any claim, contact [email protected]. EU consumers may also use a certified consumer mediator in their country.
